About The Program
My 300-Hour Yoga Alliance Hatha/ Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training builds on your 200 hour foundational training and will provide you with expert level education and teaching skills in Vinyasa yoga, Hatha Yoga and Yoga Therapy.
Includes online study materials in anatomy & physiology, asana technique, and philosophy for you to learn at your own pace. In between our in-person sessions we will have weekly practices & Q&As over zoom with Michele to build consistent community and check in.

Weekend 1: October 10-12 ( w/Michele at Portland location TBA or livestream). Foundations of the Middle Path; Standing Poses, technique, assists, therapeutics; Philosophy-Upanishads; Meditation
Weekend 2: October 23-26 (w/ Michele Portland) Yoga Nidra 4 day intensive Thursday/Friday online; Saturday & Sunday sessions In-person; Philosophy-Yoga Sutras; forward folds, Pranayama, Meditation will also take place for 300 TTs.
Weekend 3: November 13-16 (w/ Michele Portland) Yoga Nidra 4 day intensive Thursday/Friday online; Saturday & Sunday sessions In-person; Philosophy-Yoga Sutras; Also Hip opening, strength & therapeutics.
Weekend 4: December 13-14 (w/ Michele Portland)
Back-bending technique and Therapeutics; Pranayama; meditation; Philosophy B. Gita; Yoga Nidra; The middle path of love.
Weekend 5: December 18-21 (w/ Michele New York @ Menla or livestream)
Clearlight Yoga Nidra 4 day intensive; Philosophy, meditation, Sleep Yoga.

Weekend 11: May 9-10 (Michele Portland or Livestream)
Arm Balancing, Rotator Cuff and Shoulder Therapeutics; Hatha Pradipika
Weekend 12: May: 16-17 (Michele Portland or Livestream). Hands on assists review weekend all asana; Pranayama, kriyas, tantra, Hatha Pradipika, Therapeutics.
Week 13: May 28- June 4th (Michele at Menla NY w/ Robert Svoboda, Krishna Das, Robert Thurman, Nina Rao). Closing Week is live-streamed from NY. Recordings available. In-person retreat possible for separate tuition. This is a week of Bhakti, Philosophy, Chanting, Asana, & Ayurveda,

This program is rooted in the lineage of Krishnamacharya, blending the Vinyasa flow, internal form, and intelligent progression found in the Ashtanga system, the precise alignment instructions and supported poses of the Iyengar system, and the modifications to the individual that Desikachar emphasized. It is also informed by all the teachings of the Buddha and the Yogis!
Your Teacher
Michele Loew is the owner of The Yoga Space and is an international yoga teacher & practitioner of Hatha & Tibetan Yogas.
She is also the founding director of the Vajra Yoga School of Comparative Buddhist & Indic Yogic studies she co-teaches with Professor Robert A.F. Thurman for Tibet House US.
She has taught, practiced, & studied avidly since 1998, and is known for her ability to see each student and address their individual needs both therapeutically and energetically. She is a master at hands on assists, alignment, and greatly enjoys teaching spirituality and philosophy that provides a path to happiness for all.
Michele teaches regular classes and 200 & 500 YA trainings in Yoga & Yoga Nidra in Portland & New York, as well as retreats and workshops internationally.
